Hossein Rezvani’s signature piece. “The exploded rug” is what he calls the design. To be seen in the middle is a very large ornament pressing outwards, the rest “got lost”. Different colour tones are mixed into a slightly lively background of wool, from which the ornament rises out of pure natural silk. Tabriz Lilac was awarded with the Red Dot Design Award 2011 and the German Design Award 2013.
Tabriz is offered with a knot density of 400.000 knots per sqm, Persian highland wool with 35% pure natural silk and in the exclusive 1.000.000 knot quality, using Persian Cork-wool with 35% pure natural silk.
