Executing multiple complex textures on a single carpet, the weaver is challenged to reach the highest in his/her craft. Simple geometric shapes upon which different surfaces play together with colour, interacting with one another to present a unified experience of form. Designed in Italy, handknotted in Kathmandu, Nepal, Tocca designs have extremely complex woven structure with more than six overlaying textures that give the rugs a unique handle and visual texture.
